Opening Home Game Aug 30th

Come on out to our home opener against College Heights on Aug 30th. The JV will start off at 5pm with the Varsity playing after. Usually about 6:15pm will be the varsity kick-off. We hope all our fans can make it to the game.

We have been preparing for these games all summer and the players are pumped to take on the upcoming tests. We know we will face adversity but are up for the challenge. Bring your fans and come cheers on Webb City Soccer.

Lawn Chair Game Review

2011 Webb City High School Soccer Team

What a great night for some soccer. The evening started out swell with dozens of fans coming out to the match tonight. The evening had a sweet sense of excitement in the air as the season opener is just around the corner. The warm up music was blaring as the players stepped out on the turf in their red and white kits.

Red turned up the heat quickly on the White team lead by senior striker Alex Christian and and central midfielder Junior Matt Reynolds. The play was a bit rushed as the Red pounded it on White, but the White team lead by Sophomore central defensiveness Seth Rogers and midfielder Nick Cook didn't just give in. The play continued back and forth with some dazzling goals scored from the Red team.

The day turned to night as the teams continued to fight for possession until the end. Near the end of the match the White team made a  quick counter attach which caught Red off guard. Freshman Grant Shultz and newcomer Javier Acosta played some combination play but were shut down by substitute Jaime Solis and Jimmy Campbell. The Red played a clean sheet thanks to Blake Ward and Kyle Reynolds, on the other side White goal keepers played hard as River Orns, Aren Wells, and Austin Watson each made some great saves.

In the end it was  a nice night for some soccer. If you had to miss it we hope you will join us next Tuesday for our opening match against College Heights, JV starts at 5pm and Varsity will start after.

Lawn Chair Game

Aug 25th @ 7pm

Come join us for our Red/White Lawn Chair Game. The start of our season is just around the corner. We hope to freshen out some of our bugs by playing ourselves in this first annual match. We invite all who want to watch and check out what we have been learning over the summer. We have worked really hard and the players have put forth great effort and look to show off the talents. Please join us Aug 25th at 7pm and support Webb City High School Soccer.

Trainings Begins Aug8th -Aug 12th

Training starts tomorrow for all players. Two mandatory session will be held Aug 8th -12th. Starting at 6am and 8:30am respectively. Please have cleats, running shoes, shin guards and water.

We will also have a voluntary conditioning run at 8pm meeting at the cannon in front of the praying hands. Located HERE. Don't forget water.

We look forward to beginning our season with intensity and hard work. Thank you all for being willing and ready to go.

Sporting KC Game Wednesday Aug 3rd

Attention: Those attending the Sporting KC game on August 3rd need to bring a signed parent permission form. You can download the form here. 

Please bring the signed form with you when you arrive on Wednesday @ 3:30pm in the high school parking lot. Also, bring food or money to eat dinner at the game.
